This course is designed to enable your child to learn the phonic knowledge and skills necessary to read and spell many words early on. Your child will become confident in reading printed words by identifying and blending letters, and spelling by segmenting spoken words into their individual letter sounds.
Your child will learn:
- the 26 letter sounds
- how to combine letter sounds to make words
- how to identify and segment letter sounds in words
- the tricky words – words that cannot be easily voiced using phonics
